Terms of Service
Effective: August 2026
These terms govern your use of the Arpezio platform. By accessing or using Arpezio, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. The service
Arpezio is a software platform for fine art logistics orchestration. We provide tools for carrier quoting, insurance tracking, condition reporting, customs documentation, and exhibition planning. Arpezio does not move crates, store artwork, underwrite insurance, or provide legal advice.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it current.
3. Your data
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Arpezio — artwork records, shipment details, condition reports, insurance information, client information, and all associated documentation. Arpezio does not claim any ownership rights over your data.
You may export all of your data at any time, in full, in a standard format. Upon termination of your account, we will delete your data within 30 days of your written request, except where retention is required by law.
Arpezio will not use your data to train machine learning models, sell your data to third parties, or share your data except as necessary to provide the service (for example, transmitting a shipment record to a carrier at your instruction) or as required by law.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Arpezio for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, other accounts, or the systems or networks connected to the platform.
5. Third-party services
Arpezio may integrate with third-party services, including carriers, insurers, and other logistics providers. Arpezio is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms.
6. Limitation of liability
Arpezio is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arpezio disclaims all warranties, express or implied. Arpezio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the platform.
Arpezio's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Arpezio in the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by providing written notice. Arpezio may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms or for any reason upon reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to access the platform will cease, and your data will be handled in accordance with Section 3.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the email address associated with your account or through the platform. Your continued use of Arpezio after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance of those terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms shall be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California.
